The Telemetry Tech is responsible for the continuous monitoring of telemetry patients and promptly reporting changes or problems to the RN. They also maintain necessary telemetry equipment, supplies, and documentation.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED. Desired qualifications include knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Job Requirements A Day in the Life of a Telemetry Tech
Works under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Manager. Perform general duties related to the continuous monitoring of the telemetry patient.
