Deliver physical therapy care according to prescribed plans and standards set by the APTA and the State of Kansas. Provide clinical supervision to support staff and promote physical therapy services within the organization and community.
Requires an associate's degree in physical therapy, a valid Kansas PTA license, and BLS certification. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least one year.
Performs delivery of care following physical therapy plans of care and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department.
