About the role

Provide safe and competent nursing care for patients in a Cardiac PCU following facility policies and standards. Deliver professional leadership and support to the healthcare team using a Patient Centered Care foundation.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements

Current Texas nursing license or compact license. One year full time experience in an acute care setting. RQI BLS and ACLS required BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. See additional department proficiency requirements above. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.
