Forrest City Medical Center is a118 bed Acute Care facility located 40 minutes west of Memphis, TN and less than 90 miles for Little Rock, AR.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of mothers and newborns, monitoring changes in condition and identifying patient needs.
Provide direct patient care to women and their families throughout the stages of labor, birth, and postpartum recovery.
Will closely monitor maternal and fetal well-being.
Provide specialized nursing care to recovering mothers, including wound care, pain management, and support with hygiene.
Perform routine newborn assessments, monitor vital signs, and ensure infant safety.
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic patient records, documenting all aspects of care and patient progress.
Requires a current Arkansas RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP through the American Heart Association. Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Level 2 Nursery, or Mother/Baby care is preferred.
