Overview The Toxicology Biochemical Genetics Analyst is responsible for the performance of highly complex forensic toxicology, medical toxicology, biochemical genetics, special chemistry and endocrinology laboratory procedures with minimum supervision.
Analyst also performs routine tests and analyses evidence using a variety of sensitive, analytical laboratory equipment.
Toxicological and biochemical laboratory tests are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
Professional judgment is exercised to ascertain the appropriateness of the test orders, the validity of test results and to communicate this information to the physician or patient care provider.
Maintains equipment and assures integrity of data by calibrating and cleaning equipment, changing parts, and analyzing controls and test mixes.

The pay range for this job begins at $29.66/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
