• Job Requirements A Cardiology–Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse who specializes in providing comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular conditions that are directly related to cancer and its treatments.
• This role integrates expertise in both cardiology and oncology to manage complex, often overlapping health needs.
• Provide specialized, high-quality care for patients with cardiovascular disease in the context of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
• Diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and coronary artery disease in the context of cancer therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of cardiovascular status, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing (e.g., EKG, echocardiogram, stress tests).
• Educate patients and families on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and early warning signs of cardiovascular complications

• Maryland nurse practitioner license
• Skills: Advanced clinical judgment, strong communication, collaboration, documentation, and technology proficiency (Excel, Word, EHR)
