The Medication Technician is responsible for accurately distributing prescribed medications and maintaining medical records for residents. They also monitor resident health status and assist with dining and engagement activities.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a current state-issued Medication Technician License. CPR/First Aid certification and experience working with older adults are preferred.

We are currently looking for a Medication Technician for Barclay House of Stuart
Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress. Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations. Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records. Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team. Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Current Medication Technician License issued by the state CPR/First Aid, preferred Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays Experience working with older adults preferred
