Ready to make a meaningful impact? Easterseals NH has an exciting opportunity at a new home in Nottingham, NH! We're currently hiring Residential Support Counselors to join our compassionate and dedicated team.
Hours
Full time, 40 hours/week; Monday- Wednesday 3pm - 11pm and Sunday 7am - 11pm
Compensation: $24 hourly
Responsibilities
- The Residential Support Counselor will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting. Staff in this location will have the opportunity to support adults in two adjacent homes.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration
- Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
- Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
- Follow each individuals care plan
- All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
- Complete required daily documentation
- Other duties as needed or assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working in the Human Services field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
