Must possess an active X-Ray license, an 8-hour Infection Control Certification, and a Coronal Polish Certification. A Sealants Certification is preferred, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Standard ADC benefits package Job Overview J Street Dental Group is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Hygiene Assistant / Sterilization Technician to join our team. This role operates in a fast-paced, bustling 12-op office supporting 4 to 5 hygienists at a time. The ideal candidate will seamlessly balance clinical hygiene assistance with strict sterilization protocols to ensure smooth, efficient patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities Hygiene Support: Assist hygienists with accelerated or assisted hygiene workflows, perform coronal polishing, and apply sealants. Sterilization & Room Turnover: Maintain rigorous infection control standards; efficiently clean, sterilize, and set up hygiene operatories. Clinical Records & Imaging: Complete accurate hygiene notes, capture required digital X-rays, and document dental exams alongside the doctor.
Required: Active X-Ray License (non-negotiable).
8-hour Infection Control Certification.
Coronal Polish Certification.
Sealants Certification.
Ability to thrive and maintain a positive attitude in a busy, fast-paced team environment.
