At The Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona, we’re expanding our sleep diagnostics team and seeking a skilled, compassionate Sleep Technician to help us deliver exceptional care. This full-time role offers a stable four‑day workweek (four 10‑hour shifts) and the opportunity to work with a respected, patient‑centered organization dedicated to improving sleep health.

What you’ll do

As a Sleep Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality sleep diagnostics and ensuring each patient feels safe, informed, and cared for throughout their study.

• Sleep study preparation & setup
• Review patient history, confirm orders, and assess individual needs.
• Welcome patients, verify identity, obtain consent, and explain the process.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment; apply electrodes and sensors with precision.
• Fit and desensitize patients to PAP interfaces to ensure comfort and compliance.

• Conducting sleep studies
• Perform and monitor a variety of sleep tests, including MSLT, MWT, PAP titration, oxygen titration, and parasomnia studies.
• Conduct physiological calibrations and initiate “lights out” procedures.
• Monitor data quality, correct artifacts, and document clinical observations.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as PAP and oxygen therapy.
• Complete “lights on” procedures and assist patients post-study.

• Scoring & reporting
• Score sleep stages and clinical events using AASM guidelines.
• Generate accurate, detailed reports summarizing sleep and clinical data.
