The therapist provides social services, crisis intervention, and therapeutic treatment to help patients achieve optimal emotional health. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with community agencies.
Requires a Master's degree in Social Work or a related clinical mental health field and a valid state license (LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, or LCADC). A minimum of two years of experience in a psychiatric health care facility is preferred.
The Outpatient Program Therapist performs social services functions that will assist patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs while allowing them to achieve through therapeutic treatment their optimal level of emotional health. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills preferred; must have strong clinical assessment skills, preferred.
