The Patient Care Technician provides supportive tasks for patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role requires floating across various Sarasota Memorial Health Care System hospital campuses.
Candidates must hold a valid license as a CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or equivalent military medical specialty, or be an eligible nursing student. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, and BLS/CPR certification is preferred.
The Patient Care Technician performs tasks supportive to delivery of patient care in assigned departments under the direction of a Registered Nurse. May float to all Sarasota Memorial Health Care System (SMHCS) hospital Campuses.
• Prefer working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
