Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Minnesota. Certification by the appropriate national certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA). Previous experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, or a surgical specialty preferred. Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to satellite offices. New and experienced graduates welcome to apply Key Responsibilities: Pre-Operative Assessment and Preparation: Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care. Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons during procedures Post-Operative Care: Provide immediate post-operative care and including wound management Patient Management and Education: Counsel patients on pre- and post-operative instructions Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with surgeons Work collaboratively with another Nurse Practitioner. Travel to Satellite Offices: Periodic travel to our satellite offices Be available for shared on-call duties during weekends and evenings as needed.
Candidates must hold a current NP or PA license in Minnesota and certification from AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA. Experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery or a related surgical specialty is preferred.
