Responsible for preparing senior participants for exams, assisting providers with clinical procedures, and managing patient flow. Duties include taking vital signs, processing lab specimens, and maintaining a clean, compliant clinical environment.
Requires at least one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations and CPR/First Aid certification. Medical Assistant certification is preferred, along with the ability to meet specific physical demands for patient care.

Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds occasionally, 15 pounds frequently, and 7 pounds constantly; required to obtain assistance of another employee when attempting to lift or transfer objects over 50 pounds. Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent sitting, standing, walking and repetitive leg and arm movements, occasional bending, reaching forward and overhead; squatting and kneeling. Ability to communicate verbally with an excellent comprehension of the English language. Work is generally performed in an indoor, well-lighted, well-ventilated, heated, and air-conditioned environment. Experience Minimum two (2) years of experience in an appointment scheduling position, preferably in a medical office setting. Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population. Knowledge of medical terminology. Education and Certification High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from a medical office assistant training program is preferred. CPR with First-Aid certification Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.
