Cardiovascular Technician I

• What You Will Do Assists in the acquisition of data by performing EKG, and with application of holter/event monitors independently; including explanation of test, application of electrodes using accepted techniques and placement.
• Assists with stress echo and nuclear stress testing according to hospital and departmental policy under the direct supervision of a nurse.
• Properly bills for completed procedures Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
• Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
