About the Role

• The Medical Assistant - CMA/RMA plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by delivering high-quality clinical and administrative assistance in a medical setting.
• This position ensures smooth patient flow by preparing patients for examinations, recording vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures under the supervision of physicians or nurses.
• The role demands meticulous attention to detail to accurately document patient information and maintain medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Additionally, the Medical Assistant serves as a compassionate point of contact for patients, providing clear communication and support throughout their visit.
• Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the overall efficiency and quality of patient care within the healthcare facility.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from an accredited program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Knowledge of privacy practices (HIPAA)

Preferred Qualifications
