The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients within Women's Services across multiple regional facilities. This includes managing high-risk pregnancies and providing comprehensive care from antepartum through postpartum stages.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Regional Float - Women's Services Nurse, you will help healthcare consumers by providing comprehensive nursing care across multiple Omaha Metro campuses, so they can achieve optimal health outcomes.
Every day you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care following the nursing process.
You will be expected to demonstrate personal and professional responsibility for ongoing development and maintaining a safe, collaborative work environment.
To be successful in this role, you must possess at least two years of recent experience managing high-risk pregnant patients, infants, and postpartum, coupled with the ability to travel to multiple facilities on short notice.
Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.

Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
BLS: Basic Life Support required upon hire NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required upon hire Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.
Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.
At least 2 years of recent experience in managing high risk pregnant patients antepartum, throughout labor and delivery, and postpartum.
This includes assessing and caring for infants immediately post delivery and throughout the postpartum stay.
Experience in the management of patients with diabetes, preeclampsia, and/or pre-term labor is a requirement.
Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Nursing
Requires a graduate of an RN program with active licensure in Nebraska, Iowa, or a compact license, plus BLS and NRP certifications. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent experience managing high-risk pregnant patients, including diabetes and preeclampsia.
