About the role

Perform pulmonary diagnostic tests and calibrate instruments according to ATS standards in an outpatient setting. Manage patient flow through Radiology and Laboratory departments to prepare for pulmonology appointments.

Overview We are accepting applications for a full time position in our high-volume pulmonary diagnostic lab. The position is Monday – Friday 8a – 5p. Be part of a dynamic group of respiratory therapists serving 9 pulmonologists and 3 APRNs in the outpatient setting. Weekends and Holidays off with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

Calibrate instruments in accordance to ATS standards Assess patients to ensure acceptable testing criteria Perform diagnostics tests ordered by physician including approved Pulmonologist protocol in accordance with American Thoracic Standards Perform testing according to schedule which includes patient flow through Radiology and Laboratory departments in preparation for Pulmonology appointments.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program Active Arkansas Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License Minimum of one year experience in Respiratory Care preferred High focus and commitment to continuous process improvement Active BLS required Excellent communication and organizational skills Bilingual preferred, but not required About Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic is a physician-owned practice who encourages teamwork and collaboration, increasing efficiency in care, and ensuring patients receive a positive health care experience. Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program with an active Arkansas RRT license and BLS certification. One year of experience in respiratory care is preferred.
