South West Urology is led by a team of highly trained, collaborative urology specialists who provide state-of-the-art urological care in a warm, caring, and patient-centered environment.
Serving patients across several Northern Ohio locations, the practice offers a comprehensive, one-stop approach for men and women, including in-office lab testing, imaging, medication dispensing, advanced urologic cancer care, clinical navigation, and access to clinical trials – earning an outstanding reputation for excellence within the community.
The Medical Urologist will be responsible for managing the care and treatment of urological patients and will work closely with center team members to implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
Major Responsibilities Treat and care for our patients Participate as a member of multidisciplinary urologic cancer center team Participate in the educational life of the Department Serve as a professional role model for trainees with peers, patients, families and other members of the health care team Diagnosis and treat patient disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues Refer and consult with other specialists and the patient’s primary care provider Qualifications MD or MD/PhD with medical training specifically in urology Must be Board certified and/or Board eligible in urology with a state license in good standing If Board eligible, must be willing to take the boards and successfully pass within 12 months Ability to interpret clinical, genomic and efficacy data Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment Through and up-to-date working knowledge of urological treatment options Technical skills to operate medical equipment and tools related to urology treatment Ability to effectively communicate with patients, technicians, fellow medical professionals and other clinic team members Excellent communication and presentation skills Anticipated salary range: $ 450,000 - $ 650,000 Bonus eligible: Yes Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
