The Kennel Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital facility, equipment, and patient areas. They also provide basic patient care and safe restraint under the direction of veterinary staff.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with previous experience in veterinary care and small animal handling preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Sundays 8 am - 1 pm Tuesdays 8 am - 5 pm Wednesdays 8 am - 5 pm Fridays 8 a m -6 pm
A Kennel Attendant attends to the basic needs of the animals that are patients of the hospital and cleans the hospital facility, equipment, tools, and instruments. The Kennel Attendant assists the staff with improving the comfort of the client and patient by ensuring that exam rooms, treatment spaces, and patient areas are clean and presentable. The Kennel Attendant may assist with basic patient care, such as safe restraint, under the direction of the Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician, or Veterinarian.
