As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and improve patient outcomes within our medical practice.
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans Interpret imaging results and communicate findings to referring physicians Provide on-site consultations with patients and healthcare staff Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient management strategies Ensure compliance with safety protocols and imaging standards Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and technologies Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Assist in the training and mentorship of junior medical staff
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution Completion of a residency in Radiology Valid medical license to practice in the state of California Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Commitment to providing compassionate patient care Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred
Schedule: 8a-5p
No call requirement
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: ~90 mixed modality cases
Must be proficient in light IR (mainly fluoros)
EMR: Cerner
PACS: Mach 7 Powerscribe
Board certification required
