Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC | Remote Clinical Therapy Role Quick Details Florida-based telehealth position Full-Time $115,000–$120,000 per year Full benefits included Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC for a full-time remote therapy position serving clients in Florida. This is a clinical role focused on real therapy work: meeting with clients, understanding what they are facing, setting treatment goals, and helping them build healthier coping strategies through regular virtual sessions. The LMHC in this position will support clients dealing with a range of mental health needs, including mood concerns, stress, trauma history, relationship difficulties, grief, burnout, and major life changes. The work is structured, remote, and client-focused, with an emphasis on ethical care and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients virtually for ongoing therapy sessions Review client concerns, symptoms, history, and treatment goals during intake Build practical treatment plans and update them as care progresses Use clinical interventions that match each client’s needs and diagnosis Help clients develop coping tools, communication skills, boundaries, and emotional regulation strategies Document each session according to clinical and compliance standards Maintain appropriate boundaries and professional ethics in remote care Identify when a higher level of care, referral, or crisis response may be needed Keep client information secure and follow all HIPAA requirements Active and unrestricted Florida LMHC license in good standing Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples, or families preferred Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and professional communication Ability to work independently in a remote setting Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions $115,000–$120,000 annual salary Full benefits package 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Remote work setting Full-time, weekday schedule Supportive administrative structure If you are an LMHC looking for a stable full-time telehealth role where you can focus on quality client care, we would be glad to review your application.
