Provide direct personal care and hygiene support to hospice patients in various home and facility settings. Coordinate with RN case managers and train family caregivers on providing personal care within the scope of practice.
Requires a high school diploma, completion of a CNA course, and current certification with the State Board of Nursing in North Carolina or South Carolina. No prior experience is required, though hospice or oncology experience is preferred.

• After your orientation period - your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Your mileage is reimbursed between patient visits.

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of CNA course. Must attend 12 hours of in-service training supervised by a Registered Nurse on a rolling 12-month basis. Competency of the CNA is assessed in the home every 14 days. The CNA does not need to be present unless there is an area of concern. Otherwise, an onsite evaluation occurs once a year. Has not had a lapse of 24 consecutive months where the aide has not provided services for compensation.
Current certification with State Board of Nursing, or current registration with Department of Facilities Service in the State of North Carolina/ South Carolina.

No prior experience required. Two years experience with hospice, home health or oncology preferred.
