Job description

Description\nBurnett Medical Center is currently looking for a part-time Clinic CMA or LPN to provide phone nurse support.\n\nSHIFT & HOURS: \n0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period); includes occasional evenings and rotating Saturdays\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nAnswer incoming calls, enter and route messages via Epic to appropriate staff. Prescription Prior Authorizations, medication refills via EHR and faxes. Backup at times to clinical support staff with direct patient care. Rotating weekends including rooming patients, entering information into EHR, assisting providers with minor procedures, administering injections, medications and immunizations. \nRequirements\nGraduate of an approved vocational/technical school.\nPossesses current CMA certification.\nBLS, or ability to obtain within 6 months.\nExcellent assessment skills, exceptional communication, and teamwork skills.\nEpic experience a plus.
