Family Circle of Care is expanding pharmacy services and is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused PRN Pharmacist to join our growing team. This flexible, as-needed position is ideal for a licensed pharmacist who enjoys making a meaningful impact on patient care while supporting pharmacy operations when coverage is needed.

As a PRN Pharmacist, you will provide clinical expertise, medication counseling, prescription verification, and operational support to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality pharmacy services. Position Summary

The PRN Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of medications while delivering exceptional patient care and clinical support. This position serves as a trusted medication expert, providing counseling, conducting medication reviews, supporting pharmacy staff, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Current Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) (required before or shortly after hire)

    • This is a PRN (As Needed) position with hours based on operational needs.
    • Schedule flexibility is required, including the ability to assist with short-notice coverage.
    • May provide support across Family Circle of Care pharmacy locations.
    • When serving as the pharmacist on duty, assumes responsibility for the safe and compliant operation of the pharmacy.
    • Ensures all pharmacy activities meet regulatory requirements and Family Circle of Care's standards of excellence.
    • Physical requirements
    • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
    • Frequent use of computers, telephones, pharmacy equipment, and dispensing systems.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
    • Frequent reaching, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
