Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and analyze images for physician interpretation. Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure accurate documentation of findings within the EMR system.
Requires completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program and RDCS (ARDMS) certification. Experience performing adult echocardiograms and a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy are essential.
We are currently seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations (echocardiograms). While the primary focus of this role is echocardiography, the ideal candidate will also have experience or willingness to expand into vascular and general ultrasound studies as needed. We are looking for someone that can work Mondays and every other Fridays , with the flexibility to cover vacations. (Rochester Hills) Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (required) Obtain and analyze cardiac ultrasound images for physician interpretation Ensure accurate documentation of exam findings in the EMR system Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper calibration and quality control Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff regarding findings Provide excellent patient care and explain procedures clearly to patients Assist with vascular and general ultrasound studies when needed (preferred but not required at this time) Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance standards
