Join our Cardiovascular Services team and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cardiologists and a skilled clinical team while using advanced technology to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

How you’ll contribute

Our Cath Lab Technician provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Perform technical and supportive patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.

Assist cardiologists with invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter placement, and intra-aortic balloon pump support.

Monitor and interpret hemodynamics, ECGs, and waveform data while continually assessing and responding to changes in patient condition.

Prepare, operate, and maintain cath lab equipment; ensure safety standards, quality control, and infection control practices are followed.

Review patient history, verify orders and identification, provide patient education, and document assessments and procedural details accurately.

Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities, maintain readiness for call rotation, and support workflow efficiency within the cardiovascular services team.

  • What we’re looking for
  • Current Arkansas radiation operator License - required
  • Associates Degree – required
  • Registered by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist; CI or RCIS - preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab – preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA); required within 90 days of hire

Requirements

Requires an Associate's degree and a current Arkansas radiation operator license. BLS certification is required, with ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
