The Medical Imaging Specialist performs technical tasks and support functions to aid in radiologic studies for pediatric patients. They work under the supervision of a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to ensure safe and quality patient care.
A high school diploma and BLS certification are required, while a patient care program graduate (CNA, MA, or EMT) is preferred. Minimum six months of pediatric experience is preferred.
