Functions: Conducts psychological and biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate functioning, support diagnosis, and guide treatment planning. Administers, scores, and interprets psychological and neuropsychological testing as clinically indicated and within scope of competence. Provides evidence-based therapy using appropriate modalities, including CBT, trauma-informed care, supportive therapy, and crisis intervention. Develops and updates individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and treatment response. Collaborates with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, nurses, behavioral health technicians, trainees, and other team members to support integrated care. Provides patient and family education, resource linkage, and advocacy to improve engagement and outcomes. Provides supervision, mentorship, and consultation to psychology trainees, postdoctoral fellows, and licensed or provisionally licensed therapists as assigned. Maintains timely, accurate documentation and participates in case consultation, care planning, and department activities. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
