The Advanced Heart Failure APP performs evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in collaboration with attending physicians. They lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requires completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with an MSN and valid Pennsylvania licensure. At least two years of Cardiology experience is required, with Advanced Heart Failure and VAD experience highly preferred.

1. Two (2) years' of Cardiology experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Required. 2. Advanced Heart Failure experience highly preferred. 3. VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) Coordinator experience highly preferred.

1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Practitioner, or by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure. 2. Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) or (CRNP) Certified Registered Nurse 3. BLS certification required. 4. May require ACLS certification. 5. May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support) 6. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
