RESPONSIBILITIES Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures. Support clinic nurse, responsible for chart prep functions and phlebotomy. Responsible for all duties of Medical Assistant. QUALIFICATIONS At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office. - Ability to perform venipuncture. - BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). High school diploma or GED is required. Valid Driver’s license for travel to clinics SCREENINGS – Background, drug, and nicotine screens Safeguarding our patients and each other is an important part of how we deliver the best care possible to the communities we serve.
