The Physician Assistant is responsible for examining patients, collecting medical histories, and making tentative diagnoses. They will interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe therapy with physician approval, and implement treatment plans.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program with valid state licensing and certification. Strong communication skills and experience with medical terminology and charting are required.
Job Summary We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team! As a Physician Assistant, you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
