The Registered Nurse is responsible for protecting and restoring patient health through high-level licensure practice and multidisciplinary collaboration. The role involves floating across various clinics to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.
Candidates must hold a current nursing license in Illinois or Michigan and be BLS certified by the American Heart Association. A BSN and 6 months of healthcare experience are preferred.
Registered nurse protects, promotes and restores health and wellness, by practicing at the highest level of licensure; collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum; assesses and supports physical symptoms; provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families; mentors assigned team members; promotes best practices; maintains professional disposition at all times. Position would float to clinics in Flanagan, Dwight, Minonk, Chenoa, Cullom, Fairbury, Pontiac and Prompt Care.
License/Certifications: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan). American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)
Education: BSN Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment Other skills/knowledge Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
