The Cardiovascular Technologist provides direct and indirect patient care, including equipment setup and documentation of procedural events. They assist physicians during sterile procedures and ensure the proper operation of instrumentation.
Candidates must possess strong fine motor skills for handling endoscopic equipment and the physical ability to lift patients and wear lead aprons. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond to life-threatening situations are essential.
The Cardiovascular Technologist works under the supervision of Director. The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, properly documenting all chronologically procedural events, analytical calculations, medications, equipment set up and operation, and instrumentation. Assists the physician during sterile procedures and assumes responsibility for completion of other functions as assigned.
