Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for OB/GYN patients according to the nursing process and established standards of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for obstetric patients; monitor maternal-fetal status as appropriate.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; coordinate care with physicians, midwives, and other disciplines.
• Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to support patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Document care and patient responses accurately in the medical record; maintain confidentiality and compliance with guidelines.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.
• OB/GYN or obstetric inpatient nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment and work in an inpatient obstetric care setting.
