Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the ER per the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to changing clinical conditions
• Triage and stabilize patients; coordinate rapid assessment and ongoing care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise and direct activities of varied levels of nursing staff and support personnel as assigned
• Document care accurately and maintain patient safety and quality of care

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ER nursing experience in an acute-care setting
• Graduation from an accredited RN program
• Ability to work nights and thrive in a fast-paced ER environment
• Eligibility to work in Bakersfield, California
