Independent, hands-on CT imaging responsibilities
Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging examinations in accordance with departmental procedures and protocols
Set up equipment, position patients, and select appropriate scanning parameters for each study
Ensure image quality while maintaining radiation safety and patient safety and comfort
Adapt protocols as needed to optimize diagnostic results and minimize exposure
Verify patient identity, document procedures, label images, and communicate findings to the radiology team
Provide age-appropriate patient care and assist in procedures requiring CT imaging
Requirements
Active radiologic technologist license or eligibility in Georgia
ARRT Certification in CT or eligible
Experience performing CT imaging procedures and operating CT equipment
Knowledge of radiation safety, dose optimization, and image quality principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a radiology team
Flexibility to work the stated 4x10 day shift schedule and meet department needs
