The Study Technician is responsible for performing clinical observations, dosing, and sample collection across various animal species. They must maintain animal room upkeep and ensure accurate data organization and review according to study protocols.
Candidates must have an associate's degree in animal science, biology, or a related life science field. Prior experience in animal research or specimen processing and AALAS certification are preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in animal science, Biology, Wildlife Studies, or related life science field
Prior animal research experience Prior specimen processing experience Experience with using standard laboratory equipment such as scales, measures, pipetting Ability to follow research study procedures and document findings Good time management skills AALAS Certification is preferred but not required-we can help you obtain this! Additional Job Standards: Comfortable working with small and large animals in research environment Basic Computer Knowledge Basic Math Skills Ability to accurately read, record and communicate information Flexibility to work overtime as needed Pay: $22/hr.
