Acts as a medical chaperone during sensitive exams and assists providers with room and equipment setup. Manages administrative tasks including patient scheduling, chart preparation, and insurance claim submission.
This is a full time, 12 month fixed term position
Assist providers by functioning as a medical chaperone for providers completing a sensitive health exam/treatment.
Assist with room and equipment setup and are physically present to assist the provider and/or patient and visualize physical contact between the patient and provider during the sensitive health exam/treatment.
Schedules patient appointments, prepares patient charts and exam rooms, monitors patient flow, assists physicians with exams as needed.
Reviews and codes charge slips, submits insurance claims. Performs office duties.
Adhere to policies and procedures in place for sensitive health exams/treatment and for documenting their participation in the care according to applicable policies.
