We are looking for: Cardiology Veterinary Technician Our Cardiology department collaborates across multiple specialties across the hospital.
You will have the opportunity to continuously expand your knowledge and skillset cardiology procedures, .
You can expect to liaison between our Cardiologists and clients, assist with client education and scheduling, as well as manage patient appointments.
Assist in patient procedures such as: echocardiography, thoracentesis, pericardiocentesis, and multiple types of interventional cardiology procedures. Manage appointments, obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc., as well as organize and manage daily service flow Intravenous catheter placement, obtaining blood pressures, and ECGs. Client education on the many different cardiology disease processes Drive the MedVet Experience and ensure our patients receive the highest quality care Inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member
Ensure documentation is accurate and complete
Who you are: State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred Prior veterinary experience required, cardiology experience desired Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills
