Develop and coordinate peer programming, support groups, and social events for young adults to promote recovery and community participation. Conduct outreach to diverse populations and represent the TAY community on advisory boards and steering committees.
Must be a transitional age youth (18-26) with lived experience of mental health conditions, substance use, or trauma. Requires the ability to travel independently and a willingness to complete peer and group facilitation training within the first year.
Part-Time Transitional Age Youth Peer Specialist for the NERLC (20 hrs. per wk.)

The Transitional Age Youth Peer Specialist is responsible for developing and coordinating young adult peer programming across all the NERLC’s assigned areas. This includes peer support groups, social events, and trainings that are of interest to Young Adults. The goal of this position is to promote recovery and participation of peers in their communities. The TAY Specialist will conduct outreach specifically focused on developing a network of young adult peers, within the NERLC community.
