The provider will perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and treat various skin conditions for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include conducting procedures such as biopsies and excisions while collaborating with board-certified dermatologists.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited PA or NP program with a current Maryland license and national board certification. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dermatology is required.
Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages Diagnose and treat common dermatologic conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, skin infections, and skin cancers Conduct dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and lesion removals within scope of practice Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Educate patients on treatment options, skincare, preventative care, and follow-up recommendations Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Maryland state regulations and clinical protocols Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation Collaborate closely with supervising physicians Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings Travel periodically to satellite locations in surrounding counties as needed
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Current Maryland PA or CRNP license in good standing NCCPA certification (for PAs) or national board certification (for NPs/CRNPs) required Minimum of 1–2 years of dermatology experience
