Responsible for accurate procedure scheduling and the collection of patient demographic information. Coordinates with service departments and physician offices to manage the endoscopy schedule.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a medical terminology course is also required.
Accountable for accurate procedure scheduling, collection of pertinent patient demographic information, printing and distribution of the schedule and the securing of appointments with supporting service departments. Demonstrates very good communication skills with physicians and their office staff.
