The technologist performs mammographic imaging studies and manages related quality control and radiation safety activities. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must be high school graduates with a degree from an accredited Radiography program, ARRT certification, and a state radiologic technologist license. A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is required, with mammography experience preferred.
