Provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiac diagnoses, sepsis, COPD, pneumonia, and stroke in an 18-bed unit. Collaborate with cardiologists and hospitalists while utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act.
3 South is an 18 bed-unit in which the Registered Nurse (RN) provides care for patients admitted for general cardiac diagnoses as well as sepsis, COPD, pneumonia, and stroke.
The RN also cares for patients requiring antiarrhythmic non-titrated drips.
The patient population served tends to have multiple diagnoses requiring the RN to work closely with all of our Cardiologists as well as our Hospitalists to provide comprehensive care.
The RN will utilize the nursing process in the provision of care and will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and the policies, procedures and standards of the Health System.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas.
An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
Must be a Registered Nurse with a current, active license to practice in Arkansas and proof of high school graduation. A BSN is preferred, and those with less than one year of experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire.
