Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Troy, MI. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the office.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health aide role preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, assisting with mobility, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
