The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing patient areas, documenting medical records, and performing clinical functions such as measuring vitals and point-of-care testing. They also manage patient flow and assist providers with various medical procedures and laboratory logs.
Candidates must have education from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience as a CNA or EMT, and must hold or obtain BLS-CPR certification. A Medical Assistant certification and over one year of experience in a doctor's office are preferred.

Education from Accredited Medical Assistant Program, or on the job training as a Medical Assistant (experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or EMT meets this qualification) Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) or a willingness to complete within 90 days of employment
