• Clinical Pharmacist – Pharmacy Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Plano 6200 West Parker Road TX 75093 Work hours: PRN (As Needed) Rotating shifts – day/evening/weekends/holidays as needed Pharmacy department highlights: Clinically integrated pharmacy practice model with active involvement supporting high-acuity service lines such as ICU, stroke, oncology, and neonatal patient populations.

• Here’s What You Need Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy is required Or Other Pharm.D. is required And Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency is required Completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency strongly preferred 3 Years hospital experience or residency is preferred Board certified specialties and/or PGY1/PGY2 residency is strongly preferred ACPE Accredited Sterile Compounding Certification is strongly preferred BLS/ACLS is strongly preferred PHAR - Pharmacist Upon Hire is required Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.
• What You Will Do Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
• Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
• Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
• Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation.
• Consistent support of the department's quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.
• Ongoing professional development and growth.
• Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
• Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
