Registered Nurse II– Telemetry Department Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Kaufman 850 Ed Hall Dr TX 75142 Work hours: Full time 36 hours a week nights. The schedule is self-scheduled but does require 4-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Telemetry Department highlights: 23 bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit Self-scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team

• Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required Critical Care RN Certification a plus, but not required.
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days is required And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required Or ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 months is required A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
