The Outpatient Therapist provides diagnostic assessments, individual and family therapy, and treatment planning for children and adults. They are responsible for maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with Medicaid and insurance requirements.
The Outpatient Therapist delivers therapeutic services in accordance with Medicaid guidelines, collaborates with treatment teams, and ensures accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct screening, evaluation, and diagnostic assessments. Develop treatment plans and provide individual and family therapy. Communicate with supervisors and treatment team members. Complete documentation per Medicaid and insurance requirements. Monitor client progress and update crisis plans as needed. Education & Experience:
Required: Master’s degree in a human services field and licensure (LCSW(A), LCMHC(A), LMFT(A), or equivalent).
Must be licensed in North Carolina; associate or fully licensed clinicians accepted. A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a human service field and provisional or full licensure by the state of North Carolina is required. Therapists must meet the licensure and/or experience requirements as specified in the service description based on the person-served’s needs.
